Effective and Analytical Processes with SAP Business Objects Dashboards at Taha Giyim… 

Established in 2000, Taha Giyim has solidified its position as one of Turkey’s leading garment manufacturing companies, operating with the vision of becoming a sector leader. 

As the supply chain company of LC Waikiki Group, one of Europe’s top three textile retailers by 2023, Taha Giyim is recognized for its adherence to international standards, flexible and efficient production capacity, and status as one of the region’s most advanced and largest producers. 

As a key player in the retail sector, Taha Giyim opted to leverage the expertise of D-CAT Technologies’ Business Intelligence team for the implementation of SAP Business Objects solutions, aiming to enhance operational processes. 

The project, launched in September 2017, aimed to optimize the analysis and monitoring of the SOLMAN application, a system used for internal issue reporting and tracking. Specific goals included reducing incoming requests, taking swift action on pending issues, and utilizing resources efficiently based on open issues. 

Key Steps in the Project: 

• KPI Analysis: The team analyzed how KPIs to be displayed on the dashboard were stored in the data layer and how they could be accessed. 

• Front-End Design: Dashboards were designed with company standards in mind. 

• Integration via Web Services: After completing the front-end design, web services were created to quickly display pre-defined KPIs on the dashboard and were seamlessly integrated into the system. 

Outcomes: 

• Automated the previously manual SOLMAN analysis with four dashboards. 

• Enabled data control for tickets based on various criteria such as employee information, ticket level, category, open/close dates, and priority, within specified date ranges. 

• Improved monitoring of open tickets, reducing resolution times. 

• Identified recurring issues and developed root cause solutions. 

• Reduced the number of tickets, shifting to a downward trend. 

Successfully completed and launched, the project allowed Taha Giyim to streamline its issue management processes and increase efficiency. As a prominent player in the sector, Taha Giyim benefited greatly from D-CAT Technologies’ expertise in SAP Business Objects, further contributing to D-CAT’s growing experience in new industries.
