Turkcell, Turkey’s leading telecommunications operator, partnered with D-CAT Technologies’ Business Intelligence Team to implement SAP BusinessObjects solutions.
Continuing its investments in fiber optic infrastructure, Turkcell became the first telecom operator in Turkey to provide internet speeds of up to 1000 Mbps to households. Offering services across individual, corporate, and wholesale segments, Turkcell provides voice, data, broadband internet, bulk voice transportation, leased data lines, and value-added services.
Thanks to its investments, Turkcell propelled Turkey into the global fiber internet league. According to IDATE’s report prepared for the FTTH Council Europe, Turkcell added over 70,000 new fiber internet subscribers in the last six months of 2011, placing Turkey third in Europe, ahead of Spain and the Netherlands.
Project Overview
In May 2015, Turkcell embarked on a project to revise, update, or develop new SAP BusinessObjects dashboards. The project comprised five phases, with the first phase completed in 60 days by D-CAT Technologies.
